A nine-mile walk via Leigh-on-Sea.

Train: Departs Liverpool Street at 09.15 and arrives at Benfleet at 10.00 (as in programme).

The Walk takes place mainly in the Hadleigh Country Park nature reserve.  It includes lovely views across the Thames Estuary.

Members that have been on this walk before should note that the morning walk has been changed this year.  We will see more wildlife and wild flowers, including birds, butterflies, amphibians, etc.  The walk is now flat throughout except for one hill.  There are two stiles at the beginning of the walk.

Lunch is in Old Leigh where there is a wide choice of eating places.

Drop out point:   Members wishing to cut short their walk should book train tickets to Leigh on Sea.

Leader is Peter G.
