Henry Moore Sculpture Park, 19 Oct
NB change of train time: We shall now catch the earlier train leaving Liverpool Street 9.12; 9.25 from Tottenham Hale [+ toilets]; arriving at St Margaret’s, Herts at 9.51. Buy a day return rail ticket to Hertford North (for some reason it’s cheaper)
The Walk and lunch The walk lasts about 3 hours plus we shall have picnic lunch al fresco. (There is a café in the Park but service is slow and will limit time spent looking around.)
So, we’ll arrive at Henry’s at approx. 13.15. This gives us about 2 hours to explore the park, before we need to walk to catch the bus at Much Hadham (at 16.05) to arrive St Margaret’s (16.25). There are six well-maintained stiles enroute.
Entry to Henry’s costs £16.50 (concession but ticket valid for a year) or half with Art Pass.
Drop out/ shorter walk For those not doing the ramble, the visit can be made (with less walking) by taking Bus 35 from St Margaret’s alighting at Bourne Lane stop.
