Fulwell to Mortlake, 23 March

Change of walk. Mike C writes: Unfortunately my planned walk from Horsham is too muddy by half. Instead I’ll lead whoever from Fulwell to Mortlake. We’ll pass through Bushey Park, Hampton Court Park, along the river to Kingston and then through Richmond Park to Mortlake. Total length 10 miles. It’s possible to do the morning only, returning from Kingston. 

All within zone 6 travel. On the walkover, the morning was about 2.5 hours, the afternoon 2.25 hours.

Travel: Take the 09.12 Shepperton train from London Waterloo, arriving Fulwell 09.49. You can join the train at Vauxhall, Clapham Junction 09.21, Wimbledon, Kingston etc.

Lunch stop at Kingston, where walkers can take their pick of pubs and cafes.
