Hampton Court to Addlestone, 30 November

Note this walk has been shortened to 6.5 miles

Trains:  from London Waterloo at 09.06 arrives at Hampton Court at 09.44

For the return you will need to purchase a rail ticket from Addlestone to Feltham (Boundary 6) for £4.85 – if you have a senior railcard. We will be aiming for the 16.07 train from Addlestone back to London Waterloo at the latest.

The walk: This walk is along the Thames Path heading upstream past Hampton, Sunbury and Walton-on-Thames with lunch at Weybridge.  The route is mainly on the flat but there will be muddy areas.

The morning walk is 5 miles and Daphne has shortened the route in the afternoon to end at Addlestone (instead of West Byfleet); this is only about one and a half miles further after lunch.  

Drop off points: Walton-on-Thames or Weybridge. 

Lunch is at Weybridge – please notify Daphne if you wish to eat in the pub and she will book a table.  For those with a picnic, there are seats near the river.
